Alyssa Carver, PTA, Physical Therapist Assistant
Alyssa is a Northern Virginia native, born and raised in Fairfax. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Christopher Newport University. After working for an association management company, she decided to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. She received her Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from the Medical Career Institute in Newport News, VA. After spending the last two and a half years in an orthopedic outpatient clinic in the Hampton Roads region, Alyssa decided it was time to move back home.
Growing up, Alyssa played sports all year. She focused on lacrosse and played in high school and college. This love for being active also fostered a desire to help others return to the activities they enjoy. Alyssa is excited to join the LSTC team and use her background experience in sports to help athletes of all ages and give her patients the knowledge and resources they need to keep themselves strong, healthy and injury-free.
