Kalysta Rongero
Kalysta grew up in Reston, Virginia, where her interest in physical therapy began after taking a sports medicine class in high school. She went on to pursue this passion at Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating in December 2025 with a Bachelor’s in Health and Exercise Science.
While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she completed two internships where she shadowed a functional manual therapist and gained experience in an adaptive fitness gym setting. These experiences further developed her clinical interest. She is excited to be a part of the LSTC team and help patients feel supported and confident throughout their recovery process.
In her free time, Kalysta enjoys picking up a new book, spending time with friends, exploring different cafes around the area, and learning to play various instruments.
